Taylor's Pets Is The Best!!!

A Helping Paw

Have you ever heard of the phrase, "A Helping Hand", well this is the Helping Paw page. (It means the same thing) Instead of helping people, we help animals! We also help people by give them a loving companion but we are mostly helping the animals by giving them a home.

The Helping Paw page means charity. Here you can learn about all these charity events. We give out the latest charity events and when they are so you can help and donate whatever the people need that the charitable organization if for. Also, Taylor's Pets ask for donations to help the buisness or other buisnesses. Scroll down to read more.

So it's your choice, donate needed items or don't; it'll just be nice if you do. Thank you.

Wag 'N' Walk

This year in the end of September, there's an organization called the Wag 'N' Walk. The Wag 'N' Walk is where you take your dogs to a park near Royal High School in Simi Valley and you walk your dogs. Before you take your dog, make sure your dog is well mannered and you know it won't get into any dog fights. At the Wag 'N' Walk fundraiser to help the Animal Rescue Volunteers, there's food, and water, and a silent auction. You also get free dog treats, and salami. There's pet services like Taylor's Pets that have stands to advertise their buisnesses. Taylor's Pets didn't have a stand though. We also got free dog food and since my aunt and I have at least 1 cat, we got a free little bag of cat food, along with the free dog food. Also, a rescue organization put up dogs for adoption. Maybe you'll get a new furry friend.

The Wag 'N' Walk is a great way to meet new friends and to get excrise. We walk 1 1/2 miles to a certain place down in the Simi Valley Arroyo and then 1 1/2 miles back. So we walked a total of 3 miles. That was great excrise and it was tiring! When you sign in at the Wag 'N' Walk organization sign in place, you should donate some money to help Animal Rescue Volunteers. Hopefully we'll see you next year! Petsmart Charities

Petsmart always sends out e-mails to me on very generous offers. They give me coupons and deals... anyways.... I was checking my e-mail today and I saw a petsmart email. I usually delete them because I don't need to buy anything and I'm saving my money. I opened this one because it says 50% off dog beds and help homeless dogs. I clicked on the link, http://www.petsmartcharities.org/?&utm_source=email&utm_medium=102708CUF&utm_campaign=Dog  and it brought me to that page. It's good to participate in these activities because it helps save lives of all the animals out there. So go ahead, donate to Petsmart Charities!

Donations for Taylor's Pets

There are lots of ways to help my buisness, Taylor's Pets. How? By donating needed items. Sometimes we don't always need them but it's good to have them in case of an emergancy.

You can donate slightly used toys, condos[kitty condos or play houses thing(make sure they can pop-up and fold for storage use)], slightly used small dog or cat beds, cat cages, rodent cages, fish tanks, etc. Also, any size dog crate/cage. What would really help is the metal fence thing that keeps a dog in one area. What would really help is a thing that goes across a door where there are 2 doors, one for the cat to go in the room to eat and use the litter-box and one for humans to go in and out and to keep the dog out! Thank you!

You can also donate horse supplies! We need toys, blankets, saddle pads, and brushes, etc. make sure they’re slightly used. We don’t want any sick horses.

To learn more about donating cages and horse supplies go to http://www.taylorspets.com/otherpets.htm.

We want our animals to be safe and happy as possible. Thank you.

You can donate blankets and beds and stuff but it doesn't mean we're going to keep them and use them for our own personal use. That's wrong. We are going to use them to make our animals confrontable, not spoil my cat! We are also going to take some donations over to Big Al's Pet Food Warehouse in Simi Valley because they're asking for blankets too for the animals in need. You could also donate just a sleeping bag, that's what we did. So please have a heart and help. Lend us a helping paw(hand)!

Pet Food Drive!!!

Taylor's Pets is having a Pet Food Drive. A Pet Food Drive is like a Canned Food Drive to help the homeless people but the Pet Food Drive is to help homeless or shelter animals. I got the idea at a Girl Scout meeting. Our troop is holding a canned food drive to help the needy.

Here are what we are looking for:

dry food in a small bag it came in, canned food, treats, blankets, beds, toys, cages, food and water dishes, etc.  To read more about cages, read above or go to http://www.taylorspets.com/otherpets.htm .  For toys, food, and water dishes, and same with cages, they could be slightly used. We don't want any sick animals. The newer the better! We don't want you to think that you have to buy to help, just do what you think is necessary. You could, instead, donate some money to help us and the humane society.

Now you can also donate horse supplies. We need toys, blankets, saddle pads, and brushes, etc. make sure they’re slightly used. We don’t want any sick horses.

For information on toys and to get ideas on what you can donate, read pharagraph 4 up above. Also, to find out more about horse supplies and cages, go to http://www.taylorspets.com/otherpets.htm .

When we have lots of supplies and donations, we'll take most of it to the Humane Society of Ventura County in Ojai, Simi Valley and Camarillo Animal Shelter to help them. The need the food and toys, etc. because since economy is so bad right now, they are finding lots of abandoned pets and lots of people dropping off their pets because they can't take care of them anymore. It's sad I know. They are needing more supplies. Also, I am giving Tiny Loving Canines, a dog rescue group. I'll take some dog/puppy supplies to them also. For the horse supplies, I'll give some to the Humane Society of Ventura County in Ojai to help them with the 40 horses they have. So please donate what you can. This is totally recommended for you to help but it is optional. Please have a heart and give a helping paw. Thank you!

What do you want to help?

Things you can donate to Taylor's Pets or your local shelter or Humane Society

I am hosting lots of pet supply drives to get supplies to donate to the humane society and local shelter which is in Camarillo and Simi Valley. I need all the help I can get.
